Industrial engineer with a curious mind, Ruth discovered the passion for making string art in 2016.
String art is a type of art which combines numbers, portions, angles and repetitions which lead up to the part of physically making the pieces. Sometimes it takes longer to create the formulation than to actually make the art piece, but both parts of this process have its complexity.
Her works convey a balance between freedom of expression and structure. Optical illusion also plays an important role because each person seeing a different pattern in the same work, what ends up reflecting a lot of them in each piece.
Ruth is also a sports fan, loves to create different types of crafts besides string art and loves to read. She currently lives in Puebla, México.
